Hiya, i'm curious as to if anyone of you has actually seen an Eternal Blade drop from the Z-Chest?
Reason I ask is, it's noted down on wiki that they DO, but i've talked to a hell of alot of people and not one of them has seen one drop, or heard of one drop.

They are very rare or they don't drop anymore
There dropped a couple when they were added to the chest

They no longer drop from Zchest I think otherwise by now someone should get atleast one with all the ppl opening it.

I think they limited it to UW end chest only.

My conclusion would be:

Eternal Blade - UW End chest.
Obsidian Edge - FoW End chest.

Now I know obby edge has nothing to do with this But I think thats how it is now.

When the Zaishen Chest was first *officially* introduced, (relatively) lots of Eternal Blades & Crystallines dropped, however it seems shortly afterwards the drop rate was changed, or nerfed if you will.

But right now, I can't confirm if they still drop.

How about look at the hundreds of pages on the post your z-chest drops? There are plenty of posts there showing chest drops.

Also, the reason SO many crystallines, eternals, etc started showing up when the chest first came out was because many people had thousands of reward points saved up with nothing to spend them on prior to the z-chest being added. Many keys were opened to burn off that surplus. Now, people use the chest as they get points, which is just slower.

No. I have seen vitually nothing in the rare categories drop, nor have I had the great drops occur in three years of playing.

I'm sorry, but the arguement that "rare items have a low drop rate and I haven't seen one, therefore they must not drop at all" is just... dumb.

Even posting something on guru, this post will proablly not be viewed by more then a few 100 seperate people. Of that, say half of those people have ever even openned the z-chest. It's not statistically relevant, and can't prove anything.

My explination about how more z-keys were used when the chest was first introduced is the correct one.

Used roughly 1,150 Z-Keys (450 before z-rank, 692 post-update) None of these have shown up for me:

Any of the Design-A-Weapons (2007) except for the Celestial Compass
Any of the ultra-rares: Eternal Blade, Crystalline Sword, Obsidian Edge
Any of the Everlasting Tonics
Any of the Zodiac Weapons
Several Eye of the North Weapons: Enameled Shield, Darkwing Defender, Wingcrest Maul, Voltaic Spear etc.

306 recently used keys yielded:

Either my luck is crap or the z-chest does not have great drop rates for ultra-rare shit.

I have a drop spreadsheet, but I only bothered to catalog the "desirable" exotic drops, so excepting problems relating to sample size, I can't say:

1) if certain tonics or tomes have a greater chance of dropping than others
2) whether skins of one rarity (as defined by Tolkano's rewards) have a greater chance of dropping than skins of another rarity
3) if certain skins within a rarity (as defined by Tolkano's rewards) have a greater chance of dropping than others

I can tell you that your chance of finding anything is about:

Creme Brulee: 25%
Firewater: 25%
Rare: 30%
Non-Elite Tome: 10%
Tonic: 5%
Lockpick: 3%
Elite Tome: 2%

This isn't exactly an answer to your question but I hope it helps.

Nah, if they hated YOU everyone else you've opened the chests with would be getting these items, just not you.

I haven't seen an eternal blade drop...then again I haven't been doing many UW clears, at least not as many as others have. I go in when I get invited by friends...which is starting to become more often but not multiple times daily.

Yes because 7 months ago I took a pic that made it look like I got an eternal blade drop chest to post in this thread (sarcasm of course...)

Or is it more likely that I got excited and wanted to post a cool pic of me holding it before I sell it lol. I guess you couldn't really have any pic prove a drop because you can just drop any eternal blade by the chest.

What probably happened was that the drop rate went down a lot. It seems like people are selling eternal blades higher that what I could get mine to sell and I got that drop on like the fourth key I used.

I know Crystalines dropped from the chest, because there were several dropping when the zchest first came out. A friend of mine got a req 13 one back then.

Imho, Crysts, Eblades and Obby Edges don't drop anymore from the Z-chest, period !

They do drop from the Z-chest, but the drop rate is waaaay less than even the UW end chest. I can verify that my guildies got a total of 11 E blades so far from the UW end chest, and 1 from the Z-chest.
